best friend love the best love
i was cleaning out my youngest son's room, he leaves for university tomorrow, and i found this little foam heart. stacey is his best friend. they have been friends for as long as i can remember, never boyfriend and girlfriend, just best friends. i slipped this heart into my pocket fully intending to use it here.
a few hours later he asked to borrow some money, to take stacey out for their last lunch together before they go their separate ways
i couldn't resist mentioning that i had found the heart. alex remembered right away that it had been inside a birthday card stacey had given him years ago. i was happy that he remembered when he had received it, it meant something, as it should have.
Al is such a good boy.
