Gone Fishing

I don't see Margie around here today. I think she's still trying to get her internet to work properly from the cottage. Either that or she's gone fishing.

In the meantime, meet my new fish. I am having trouble naming him. I didn't name the last fish and he lived for almost four years.  I feel badly about that.  Any suggestions?  So far all we've come up with is Sushi.

Oh, I love Siamese fighting fish! I had them for years growing up, and loved feeding them little worms off of a crochet hook.

I always called my fishes Fighty. When one died, the successor became Fighty 2, Fighty 3, etc.

Those fish are so pretty to watch and they are smart too. They will come over to visit you once they get used to you peeking in to say hi.

Ack, Tangobaby!!!! If you knew the phobia I have about worms you would have never said that. The only reason I let Marg post the photo of the worm on the hook is that I knew that I would want to post about knitting. Which she has declared verboten!!
In a short two weeks this one already knows to come to the surface when he sees us near the bowl.

I had one, but he died. I really loved that fish, he was awesome!

When I left to have neck surgery, someone else took care of him at my job....the day I came back to work after a month of being out.....he DIED! I was crush...I buried him outside my window......

Maybe it's time for me to get a new fishy?!
