i know i am in trouble when the friends yell,

 "margie will only drink from the jamaica shot glass!!!"

smile mon, we are going to do some shooters.  

see my special jamaica glass over by the bottle of deadly alcohol.  

the queen had a birthday.

rest of the weekend, a sleepy blur.

two other things:

i am laughing at the sportsnet headline:  plaxico, giant disaster.  for those of you non NFL fans, he plays for the giants, and he shot himself in the leg at a nightclub on friday night, and he's being charged, for assault with a deadly weapon, duh.  it really is a giant disaster.  poor bugger. who names their baby plaxico anyway??   

secondly, i have a sore throat.  i had this deep whiskey voice, see shot glass above,  all weekend.  i chalked it up to party overload for an over the hiller like me.  no, i can tell on this sunday eve, the throat has officially passed the scratchy stage and moved to the swallowing hurts stage.  damn.  i have to go, football game is over and it's time for gossip girl.  yes i watch gossip girl.  the same way i used to watch dallas and knots landing (sigh).  i am not happy without a nighttime soap in my life, even if it's about little rich teenagers.  great outfits though.

Now I understand why I couldn't find you on Sunday. I called and one of the boys said he couldn't find you hadn't seen you. You were clearly in bed in recovery mode with a coffee and the TV on.

Gossip Girl is my favorite show ever! That Chuck, so many layers. And what good costume design! Amazing. The writers are pure genius. Who would have thought.
