I opened yesterday's post and was charmed by the photos of Sarah and the boys. But something was bugging me, a memory, had I seen that photo before? No, impossible, Margie just took it on the weekend.
What was it? I came home and went through the photo albums and found these.
Margie's two eldest boys, my nephews, Lou & Sam. A bath photo and a hugging photo. I knew I had seen that photo before, but it was two photos combined in my memory. The back of the photo says January 1986 so it must have been Louie's birthday. Breakfast in bed was de rigeur on your birthday. Sam is the babies' father. Louie is their Uncle. I would say favourite Uncle, but there is another Uncle, Al, and I know that they couldn't choose a favourite, the same way I couldn't choose a favourite nephew.
She, the sister, the damn sister as I called her all day yesterday is at the cottage. I am jealous therefore she is my damn sister because she is at the cottage and I am not. She has no phone and as such no dialup. I think it's going to be me. All week here at Soeurs all alone, half a soeurs.
At the end of the day yesterday she emailed me from her iphone and said, "You should just reproduce our emails all day - that could be your post". Because seriously, there was much hilarity in our writings. But I had already deleted for the day. Tomorrow, I'm saving them so you can see what we're like together!
Just wait, we'll be totally boring and I'll produce a post that says, Her: "What are you doing?" Me: "Nothing." Her: "Oh, okay ttyl". Or we'll be on ... you'll just have to check in and see.

*haha, I just noticed how Margie matched the pink soap with the pink bathroom with her pink children ... such a decorator girl!
