I don't watch the Simpson's much, but I remember seeing an episode where they found a three eyed fish in the stream near the nuclear plant.
This strawberry reminded me of that. What the heck went wrong here?
Oh well, it's big and red and plump and looks juicy.
I'm going to eat it anyway.
I'm spending the weekend studying. I've finished assembling the photos for my assignment and the album is done and ready to be submitted. It feels weird to be spending my time this way. Reading and writing and learning because I'm going to be graded on how well I do. Sure it happens in our day to day lives, our work is judged, the cleanliness of our homes, what we say and do, pretty much everything is looked at by somebody who forms an opinion about it, but we generally always have the choice to be able to tell ourselves that what matters is what we believe. I guess it's the same, I believe I've done a good job and have learned the material. We'll see if the instructor feels the same way.
It's the day before my birthday. My last as a 48 year old. I don't mind the number though. I feel good. I am excited about going out for dinner tomorrow night. We've decided on a restaurant nearby that serves local food. Should I bring the camera?

I've seen many strawberries like that. I think of them as conjoined twins...or triplets...or something.
I give you an A on your class. I've loved your shots.
And about taking your camera to your birthday dinner...it's YOUR birthday--do what you want. If you want to take it because it would be fun and record the occasion...do it. If you want to go and just enjoy the experience first hand, reminding yourself through the snapshots in your mind's eye, do that. Your birthday, your choice, your call.

That's massive. I've never seen a strawberry like this. We grew a 5kg or approx 12lb zucchini this year.
