kath told me that barry asked her why we weren't speaking. she explained that we weren't not talking just that we are avoiding. the funny thing is that we are avoiding all the inevitable discussions we would have if we were talking. we are definitely not avoiding each other. are you still with me?
we are like these two weeds. same field, just not looking at each other, in case of talking.
i do not want to talk to kath:
- she will tell me to get off my butt and start packing, we move in a few weeks.
the reason i am not packing:
- i am paralyzed by the thought of it. completely overwhelmed;
- november is not a good month for me emotionally;
- i am worrying way too much about everything and everyone and of course that takes up a lot of my time;
- i miss the babies but who wouldn't;
- i am fishing for reasons, such as missing the babies which i admit is lame;
- because MY SISTER is not here to help me!!!
- haha, kath is making me tell you that i am even exercising to avoid my life, how sick is that??
now ten hours after i wrote this post i am still avoiding. i have wandered over to shutter sisters to see what's up and was provoked into searching through my archives to see where i was on this day a year ago. this is my image for november 10, 2008.
it was obviously a gentler, sweeter time.
a good memory for me today.
and just for good measure
the babies

So...
...get off your butt and start packing!
Everything's gonna be all right. Really.

Baby steps, Margie... One little step at a time is better than none at all, you think? Sisters have a way of speaking to each other even without talking. :o) I live 3,00+ miles away from my sister. She has the most precious baby girl who will turn one year old next week. I so want to be there, but can't. I miss her every day. It breaks my heart daily not to be able to see her little girl growing up... but the internet helps. And we are always together in heart. My heart my still break sometimes. But there is a lot of good and joy too. So... Ready to pack? ;o) ((BIG HUGS))

i'm here girlfriend. If you feel you need an additional sister (middle one only) then i am the one to fulfill the role for however long you need me. kath would definitely approve...if only you two were speaking you could ask her.. to allow me to assist you in moving one eensy step at a time toward that cardboard box over there in the corner. seriously girl. i love you to bits for your soft, soft heart.
XO
Margie's heart is really soft ain't it kath?

it's so funny, i think there are a lot of us that do that "avoiding" thing. it's just easier sometimes because we already know what the other is going to say and we don't want to hear it! :)
Good luck with everything!

Oh Marg, I think we all avoid sometimes, but that's extreme to be exercising even!! Start packing girl!

One box at a time, one drawer at a time. It will get done.
It was brave of you to share this slice of honesty with us.

Catching up on everything I missed while I was on vacation (even if I'm not commenting on all of them). Hope you are having a better day. Want to avoid it? Go ahead. You'll get it done eventually. Deep breath, girly. :) Sending you happy thoughts!
