The lady at the post office and I are seeing a lot of each other lately. I mailed my ornament (finally!). I found a little present for my sister that made my new friend at the post office laugh. She heartily agreed that dropping a gift in the mail for no reason is a great way to give love.
My goddaughter is turning ten. She lives many thousands of miles away from me and we don't see each other often. She is a fantastic kid and I wanted to mail her some love on this special birthday.
So tomorrow I'll be going to the post office and putting ten presents in the mail.
It's no secret that when we seal the box and write the address, and mail some love away that immediately we feel a sense of joy. That's why we give love.

I agree - the gift of giving is greater than the gift of receiving! (But 10 presents for a 10th birthday -- that would be pretty awesome to receive!!!!)
Happy Love Thursday to you both!

What a cool godmom you are! :) And I agree - sending packages is so much fun. I love the treasure hunt aspect of it when you're pulling one together.
Happy Love Thursday!
