i had to laugh at the reaction to my "hope in a jar/hope is not enough" picture the other day.
"sometimes we need to believe in miracles and
sometimes we need to make them happen
where there is hope there can be faith
where there is faith, miracles can occur"
there have been times in my life, and i suspect yours as well,
that i have held onto the lifeline called hope.
there have been times that i have felt that hope failed me,
and yet in hindsight, i know that it has saved me.
it has saved me from despair.
what could be worse than the loss of all hope?
always hope for the best.
did you know that when pandora opened pandora's box
she let out all the evils except hope,
thankfully she revisited the box and let out hope as well.
amongst all the evils there was a good one
whose task was to heal the wounds of the body and soul.
please visit shutter sisters
and follow
their picture hope journey.
thanks.

Well. How am I going to tell people that my new favorite quote comes from a face cream jar? ha.
I loved this post.

That's interesting. I just left a comment response at my blog about how sleep is magical and restores hope.
And did you find out anything about 'wiling away the time'?

I experienced a loss this year. In response, we were flooded with love from friends and family. The one sentence I remember, out of all the cards and emails and letters that came, was from my aunt, who wrote:
"All we can do is move forward with hope in our hearts."
I think that's the single most lovely truth I've heard in a long while. I'll always remember that line.

Your hope in a jar photo has me smiling tonight. That's a humorous campaign, that's for sure.

I loved this post! My hope is up and down these days, this post brought it back up! I read it and immediately though of Emily Dickinson...
"Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,"
thank you for restoring hope!
