Spring ahead, Fall back.
We received the gift of an extra hour this morning. How did you use yours? Did you use it up last night partying? Or did you stay in bed this morning sleepily snuggling? Or were you like me? I hit the ground running and used it to do some extra fluffing and folding on the house. Flower arranging, shining and polishing, dusting (with my sleeve, I confess) and sweeping (with my sock, pushing the larger items under the furniture, I confess). We have another open house today.
Actually, there was no running involved. Yesterday I stubbed my toe on the leg of the bed. A stubbing where I jammed my baby toe (toe jam haha) hard with a crack. I rolled onto the bed holding my foot screaming OW OW OW and using some other choice words. It made me cry, the toe stubbing not the swearing, the swearing made me feel better. It still hurts. When I was going to bed last night, a magazine slipped off the bedside table and when I leaned over to pick it up, I hit my cheek on the sharp corner of the table. OW OW OW and some other choice words. I laugh/cried about that one because it was an absurd way to end a day that had begun with a toe stubbing in that room. Why does my bedroom set hate me when I love it so much? At least I don't have a shiner this morning.
Cross your fingers for us today. Turn your clocks back. Enjoy yourself. Tell somebody you love them. Give two kisses instead of one. Have a great day. Do what I tell you.
With much love from your bossy friend Kath.
xoxo
