vision and the soeurs du jour

 

our blog friend toni johnson from daily vignette has a guest post over at shutter sisters today. she talks about vision, where we get it, do we ever wonder if we even have a vision.  funny thing is i often head over to her blog for a bit of vision, toni is an artist.  a real one!  now what is a real artist you might ask.  as far as i am concerned a real artist is anyone that i see that way.  i can bestow that moniker to anyone i like.  

mostly though i look to kathleen, my sister, for my creative vision.  whether it is my photography or just my day to day life, kath has a vision for me.  i may not always see it or rely on it yet i always listen. today synch-ro-ni-zing has asked us to tell how we chose the name of our blog.  for kath and i it was obvious, sisters every day.  that is first and foremost, soeurs du jour.   

toni talks about visiting blogs looking for vision and today i am wondering, does anyone ever get their vision from us?  imagine!!

Having a sister to share a blog with is enviable. My sister is not someone anyone would want to do that with. She has control issues and I like to avoid her. But your sister sounds like a dream, and sharing a blog which expresses your love everyday is beautiful. Thank you for these lovely sentiments. Neat blog! =D

Of course we do! One of the reasons I fell in love with your blog is because the love and best-friendship you and your sister share reminds me of the same bond I have with one of my sisters. I read your words and it makes me think of our words. It makes me feel better and homesick all at the same time. And then I came to love your art and your philosophies and your spirits.
