I read that there are many islands in Costa Rica. I am not exactly sure where Margie is headed, but you can be sure it's going to have a lot warmer than it would be on this island.
We finally have snow. It has been falling gently since yesterday at about noon. I am not unhappy about winter's late arrival, not unhappy about the lateness and not unhappy about the arrival. I have a cozy blanket, a new teacup, library books and movies, we're starting the New Year with a return to clean eating so the kitchen holds only healthful foods. I predict this is going to be a spectacular year. There is a peace and contentment in my heart that has me at ease and I feel ready to embrace the abundance that is waiting. My wish for you is that you feel the same.

That sounds like the perfect way to spend snowy days. I hope you do have a spectacular year!

Sounds great...a book, a blankie, and a cuppa. How does it get any better than that? Oh, I know! Being in Costa Rica where it is warm!

Stunning picture! I think your beginning to your New Year sounds just wonderful! Of course, I'm a tad jealous of Marge, too!

Your little island looks very cold. Glad to hear you are snug and warm with a blankie and tea. Clean eating sounds so good after all the junk from the holidays. The weight that I worked so hard to lose for my son's wedding will have to be lost again, I'm afraid - thankfully not all of it. Wishing you both the best for the new year.
