it makes me smile when i come across a heart drawn in the sand.
and there is no one around
and it is anyone's guess
who put it there.
was it this couple?
or was it these two?

My daughter and I have a beach tradition...we make a heart from shells, pebbles or flotsam for someone like you to find.

Isn't in interesting, it's almost like some kind of natural instinct to draw a heart in the sand...maybe it stays a way, maybe the tide takes it out...but we must show the love. :o) Beautiful photos, Margie... Wishing you & yours a sweet Valentine weekend ahead ((HUGS))

I think it was the first couple. They've been coming to this beach every anniversary for forty years. They used to bring little kids. Now it's just the two of them. She drew the heart in the sand with her walking stick. She's a romantic and so is he.
That's just what I think.....
