This healthy living stuff can take over your life. First you're trying to find your perfect weight.
Then you're having a conversation at lunch and you decide to turn off the television from October 20th to November 1st.
That's what happened to us. We're not cutting it out completely, but we're not going to sit all evening and watch television. If there is a show that we specifically want to watch and has some value, we will watch, but the plan is to turn it off when that show is over.
I have a real love hate relationship with television. I can waste endless hours watching and sometimes I watch things I've seen before which is an utter waste of time.
Right now, we sit on the couch together but not really together, you know? We don't talk, we don't interact, we don't accomplish anything. We're not even sitting on our nice furniture, we're sitting on the saggy old basement couch and I love our living room furniture but because of the television watching, I don't sit on it very often.
We're giving it a try, because frankly, this view has anything that is on television beat, hands down.
